The Government is continuously striving to enhance the role of the valuation profession in supporting Indonesia’s economic development. Various regulations and provisions have been issued to foster and develop the valuation profession, while also providing protection for both practitioners and users of valuation services in Indonesia. Most recently, the Ministry of Finance issued Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 125/PMK.01/2008 dated September 3, 2008 concerning Public Appraisal Services. This regulation stipulates that Public Appraisal Firms (Kantor Jasa Penilai Publik/KJPP) may be established in the form of a Sole Proprietorship or Partnership, with a scope of services covering Property Valuation and/or Business Valuation, as well as other related services. Joko Suratno Public Appraisal Firm (KJPP-JS) was established in early 2014 and was officially registered under the Decree of the Minister of Finance with Business License No. 3.13.0056 dated December 27, 2013, in Jakarta, as a Sole Proprietorship. KJPP Joko Suratno (KJPP-JS) was founded by Ir. Joko Suratno, MAPPI (Cert), who has been duly licensed by the Minister of Finance as a Property Appraiser (P). As a professional in the valuation field, Ir. Joko Suratno, MAPPI (Cert) has over twenty years of experience, particularly in the valuation of machinery and equipment for both private companies and government institutions. KJPP Joko Suratno (KJPP-JS) is supported by a team of professional staff and experts from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, enabling the firm to carry out valuations in various sectors, particularly machinery and equipment, industry, mining, oil and gas, and plantations.
1987-2003
From 2000 to 2003 he served as Senior Appraiser at PT Ujatek Baru and PT Fiera Admiratiara.
2003-2013
From 2003 to 2013, he worked as a Freelance Machinery and Equipment Valuer with various Public Appraisal Firms (KJPP) across Indonesia. During this period, he was entrusted with numerous assignments in machinery and equipment valuation, collaborating with several reputable firms.
2013-Present
He has been serving as a Public Appraiser at Joko Suratno Public Appraisal Firm (KJPP Joko Suratno), with extensive experience in conducting various property valuations.
